As part of Timberland‘s 40th Anniversary collection, the nearly indestructible Super Boot returns using direct-from-the-vault original styling, Italian-made Vibram® soles and 200 grams of PrimaLoft® insulation. The nature of the Super Boot made it an urban assault vehicle of the boot world being originally made for Alaskan Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Racers, meaning it was warm enough for workers in colder climates. The popular boot earned its reputation by being seen on the likes of Tupac Shakur in Juice as the borough-based hothead, Bishop, and A$AP Rocky to rep the new generation. The ’40 Below’ Super boot is the latest addition to the Timberland 40th Anniversary line, originating in 1979 and designed to withstand the harsh elements. Standing at 10″ inches high, construction uses double insulation, a 4″ garment leather collar, latex sealed multi row stitching, silicone injected Krymp Oxide leather, and a Vibram® yellow label sole. The Timberland 40th Anniversary 40 Below Super Boot will release in-store at Kith locations for $260 USD on Saturday, November 23rd, 2013.
Starting November 20th through November 22nd at Noon EST, those customers who are interested in purchasing the boot may come to either Kith store to enter a raffle for a chance to purchase. At the both stores employees will take down your name, phone number, size, and color. Customers may only sign up at one store, those who try to enter at both stores will be disqualified. Please bring a valid photo ID and inquire in-store for more details.
