Ronnie Fieg x ASICS GT-II “High Risk” @ Kith NYC

I’m proud to present the Ronnie Fieg for Asics, GT-II “High Risk”. The name “High Risk” stems from the red Pantone used for the accents on this shoe, and the all over purple and red colorway was a big design risk for me. I barely use purple in my designs and i always felt it was a tricky color to get right. Using a unique purple shade and nicely blended red, I felt the design was really pushing the the envelope on the GT-II. The result was outstanding shoe that uses a soft pigskin front and leather build on the back. Underneath the side strips is a standout 3M fabrication, along with cotton lining and a tongue featuring perforated leather. Beneath sits Gel cushioning technology and a red sole wrapping it all together. You can check out the Ronnie Fieg x ASICS GT-II “High Risk” on the shelves at Kith NYC stores right now in very limited quantities for $145 USD. The shoe was previously released online yesterday via a Kith NYC Kithstrike and has since sold out. There will be no phone orders, in-store only.
