Nike has recently redesigned the iconic Air Max line to feature Engineered Mesh material. The new mesh patterns enhance the functionality while retaining the overall look of the original models. It enables both tight and loose perforation patterns to replace traditional color blocking, gradients and overlay placement. Using “zoned” construction, Nike uses tighter patterns where durability is paramount while looser patterns are used where breathability is needed. The result is a more breathable, flexible and durable Air Max shoe. The latest shoes from the line are the Air Max 90 EM Infrared ($120 USD) Air Max 97 EM Silver ($155 USD), both of which are now available at Kith NYC stores or by phone order at 646-648-6285.

    I am greatly disappointed with my online shopping experience at Kith. I purchased two pairs of their very popular Asics Salmon Toes and received a confirmation email on 9/30/11. My credit card was then charged over $300 the next day for the items. About two weeks pass, and nothing. I email them on 10/12 and get the response that someone will be looking into it. Again, nothing. I email once more a week later with no response. I then post on their twitter account and email on 10/26 complaining about their lack of customer service. I finally get a response saying that she thought they were shipped out already. She then tells me that they only have one pair left (not two as I had ordered) and sends them on on 10/27. Yes, this is almost ONE MONTH after I paid for them. She then tells me that someone will be returning a pair and will tell me the condition of them when they arrive.

    I still hear nothing back, so I email her on 11/13. No response. I email again on 11/15 and get a response the next morning (I was told she never received the email). All the email said was that the customer did not end up returning the shoes and a sorry for my inconvenience. That was it. No mention of refunding my $134…nothing. I could not believe it.

    I have never encountered such horrible customer service and lack of response from a company in a very long time and contemplated filing a formal complaint with the BBB, which I will do if I do not receive my refund in a timely manner. It is now 6 weeks since I purchased items from them that they are finally coming to the conclusion that I will not be receiving my entire order. The woman at customer service was apologetic but unfortunately that really isn’t enough. There was no offer of a discount or future discount, etc….basically things that other companies with customer service skills offer customers when they screw something up. I like to be supportive of small businesses, but I am shocked that a company in this day and age handles their customers like this. Just because you sell exclusive items that people camp out for doesn’t give you the right to ignore emails and keep someone’s money for six weeks. They don’t even have a phone number online so you can call to follow up – what business does not post a customer service phone number online?

    I am REALLY disappointed and pissed off. UPDATE – I was told on 11/16 that my refund would be processed and that I would receive an email. As of 11/18, I have received nothing. Okay, I finally received a refund on 11/21!

    Horrible customer service. Don’t believe the hype, I’ve seen better selections at mom and pop stores. Definitely was not worth the trip.

    By far THE WORST customer service experience. Ordered a pair of shoes for my bf. and it was just awful! The shoes were scuffed, and marked with a few stains. Definitely NOT in its original “New” condition. Therefore, I wanted a return/full refund. It took them a MONTH just for me to get my money back (after I kept email/calling numerous times). **I WOULD GIVE THIS STORE NO STARS IF I COULD** As a customer I was not a priority to them. Nor was my refund. I spoke to a representative who I had to call back at least 3 times (after the fact that I emailed her numerous times times prior to picking up the phone, and giving KITH a call – giving them the benefit of the doubt). As a customer I felt like I had to hunt them down just to make sure I get my refund (after they were already shipped out). The clothes/shoes here are nice, but its just not worth the hassle. For what its worth, if 2 other reviews are saying the same thing about the customer service here at KITH, and the mistake that they make on their behalf ..its most likely true. I (totally) understand that people make mistakes its bound to happen, but its how you (KITH should have done) handle the situation after the mistake has been made that will make a difference to the consumer’s). I definitely would not recommend shopping on-line at this store, nor would i ever shop here again.
