In honor of Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman, Nike presents a pack of Air Trainer 1′s in Tan/Black and a Black/Gold. The trainers are well-designed with a gold-painted trim around the Nike Swoosh, velcro straps above the toebox and subtle stripes along the side panels. The Tan/Black feature nubuck uppers and a black midsole unit, while the Black colorway features full grain leather and nubuck detailing. The heel is finished off with a “BB51″ debossment, “BB” as his initials and “51″ taken from his jersey he wore at University of Oregon.
