Because of the amount of shooting that I do, I get to spend a lot of time walking around NYC. I prefer to shoot in places that are a little distant from the crowds so that I can work in peace (the fewer “Yo, when’s that dropping?” the better). Fewer people means more animals, and as a result I come into contact with a lot of NYC wildlife. While shooting some recent additions to the Kith sneaker wall, I came across this incredibly regal pigeon who just wanted to be photographed. I happened to be on the phone with my Mom at the time (via headphones) and she was cackling hearing the shutter progress knowing I was talking pictures of a rat with wings.
